ACTSYS has recently conducted training for engineers at Tanjung Bin, Malaysia (Coal fired plant 3 x 700 MW) on “Power Plant Operating Principles”. The objective of the course is to enhance the clarity on basic thermodynamics involved in coal fired thermal power plant operation to understand how various key parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, etc) influence the plant operation and efficiency. The training was provided to performance, maintenance and operation engineers of the plant.
