Actsys MD Norman Lee made a presentation ” Troubleshooting Excessive Energy Consumption of a Poorly Performing Process Compressor” in the National Energy Efficiency Conference 2013, organized by the Singapore National Environmental Agency. The emphasis of the presentation is that Energy Auditing should not only be about replacing or retrofitting equipment but it is just as important to be able to analyze degradation in existing equipment in order to recover performance by corrective maintenance. This is especially true of large equipment in the process industry.
